7 Entrees from your Favorite Food Bloggers made Gluten Free

Facebook Friends! This one’s for you! Here are some recipes from my favorite food bloggers that are either already naturally gluten free, or easily made gluten free with just one small change. I’ve assembled seven recipes for this post because they’re all so simple to tweak. For more complicated variations, I’ll just do one recipe at a time.

Last week I asked my Facebook readers if they would like some advice on turning recipes from regular food bloggers into gluten free recipes. Many people agreed that this would be a helpful type of post. I thought I’d start by sharing a few dinner recipes from some of my favorite food bloggers that are already naturally gluten free or can be very easily made gluten free by switching out just one ingredient for its gluten free counterpart. I’ve grouped the recipes by what you need to substitute, 3 are naturally gluten free, 3 need gluten free broth and one can be made gluten free by using gluten free noodles. I’ve included tips on which noodles to use, and links for making your own gluten free broth.  Click the pictures to go to see the recipes.

3 That you need to Replace Soup Stock with Gluten Free Stock:

These recipes call for chicken stock. If you’re unable to find gluten free soup stock or broth, there are a couple of easy was to make your own. The most flavorful is to use the base from my Homemade Alphabet Soup. This is a bit time consuming, so what I usually do is make a Quick Gluten Free Broth from vegetables. You can find the recipe for Alphabet Soup by clicking here and for Quick Gluten Free Broth by clicking here. If you’re really in a hurry, just substituted the broth with lightly salted water.

Arroz con Pollo from Try Anything Once - Totally gluten free, just make sure you use a gluten free broth.  {click the picture for the recipe}

One that needs Gluten Free Noodles:

This recipe is gluten free, but calls for noodles, make sure you use gluten free noodles. If you can’t find “gluten free” noodles in your grocery store, Thai Kitchen rice stick noodles are gluten free (and they’re what I often use). If you can’t find gluten free noodles at all, try serving it over rice. This recipe also uses paprika.

Chicken Paprika from Susie QTPies Cafe. This recipe is gluten free, just make sure you use gluten free spices and serve over gluten free noodles or rice.  {click the picture to get the recipe}
