When you collect autoimmune diseases like I do, there are times when getting juice is an emergency. If you’re dealing with celiac disease, a thyroid disorder, non celiac gluten sensitivity, or another chronic illness, you might be able to relate. No time or energy to peel vegetables, barely any energy to even wash them. This is my emergency, I NEED JUICE juice. Nothing needs to be peeled. Everything can be thrown in to the juicer whole with one hand while you rest your head on the counter with the other. And everything is green, so at least it turns out a recognizable color. While the Purple Super Juice is designed to be as ascetically pleasing and tasty as possible, Mean Green Juice is made to just get the juice in. It’s healthy. It tastes healthy. Plug your nose. Choke it down. Lets not be babies about this. This recipe should make enough to last you two days.
